Leeloo The Toy Cavoodle has been hitting some of her local beachfront cafes around Henley Beach to check out a couple of the pet friendly options available. Here are some of her favourites and what they all have to offer starting with the absolute beachfront Joes Cafe.
This very popular location with the local hounds of henley, has two great outdoor areas for your pooches and their people. The very friendly staff are ready to greet you upon arrival and has the most spectacular beach views inside and out. The cafe has an all day breakfast available with a lunch menu that serves a variety of seafood dishes including the popular fish tacos and also has a licensed bar. Aside from the iconic Daschunds on the roof the amazing artworks from local artist Andrew Baines are featured around the cafe.
Sunnyside Cafe & Bar
The newly refurbished Sunnyside Cafe & Bar located at Henley Square has a deck friendly area for all the pooches and their people. The decor has been beautifully designed with a very contemporary yet comfortable and stylish edge throughout. Slightly tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the square and the atmosphere is very relaxing and has lovely side views of the beachfront.
Open for breakfast and lunch the service is excellent and the menu and quality of the dishes are certainly delicious and include that little extra attention to detail. They also have a bar available to get your bottomless mimosas and cocktails or a glass of wine to compliment your meal.
