Welcome to my website, my name is Karen Faure and I am the owner and founder of Petstar Photography. I'm your go to Adelaide based family pet photographer who specialises in professional images showcasing pets with or without their people.
Having worked within the photographic industry since 2001, the passion I have for photography and my love of animals have fused together to bring you Petstar Photography.
Families come in all shapes and sizes and never before have pets played a more important part in the family, especially amidst these ever changing times.
My mission is in 'Capturing a moment in time in the special life of your Pets'
On the day of your photographic adventure my focus is in capturing the best possible images on the day of your photo shoot. I always aim to showcase the essence of your pets' unique characters and individual personalities for you to cherish for many years to come.

I understand the patience needed when working with your furry friends and encourage the session to be at a location where your pet is most comfortable. Your dog doesn't have to be a top-dog supermodel as I have plenty of patience and tricks on hand. I work with natural light and if you are unsure of where to have your photo session, there is no need to worry as I know of lots of great locations in and around Adelaide.

Since establishing Petstar Photography back in 2014, I have photographed hundreds of pets in Adelaide for my individual clients, and at countless pet related events. My photo sessions have included many local pet related businesses, numerous pet rescue and charity groups. I'm proud to have been a prize winner in various local photographic competitions for some of my 'Petstar' images. My work has also been showcased and featured in some of the below mentioned magazines and pet related businesses over the years.
